Diablo is an action RPG-style game created by Blizzard North and distributed by Blizzard Entertainment in 1997. The game is considered one of the best Action RPG-type games. So today, I will show you the list of best Diablo clones or alternatives for pc that are kind of similar in terms of gameplay style. These all are games like diablo that are free for pc. It is a game with a dark fantasy world, where the ruling organization of the island nation of Oriath exiles people to a ruined continent that is home to many ancient gods. There are seven characters players can choose to play – Marauder, Duelist, Ranger, Shadow, Witch, Templar, and Scion. The gameplay and graphics of Path Of Exile are very much like diablo. So, if you like Diablo then you should really play this game.

14. Torchlight II

Next on the list, we have Torchlight II which is another A-RPG type dungeon crawler game created by Runic Games. The game was released for Windows OS in 2012, OS X in 2015, and Linux in 2015. Book of Demons is another action role-playing game created by Polish studio Thing Trunk. The game was officially released on Steam in 2018. The game was originally created for only Microsoft Windows, but later the creators decided to release it on Xbox One also. Book of Demons game is featured with a unique and interesting art style of like diablo - all the visual framework of the game is based on paper cuttings and pop-up book elements. Grim Dawn is an action role-playing game (ARPG), The game got officially released on February 25, 2016, and is created and distributed by Crate Entertainment. It is another diablo 3 alternative. The game is set in a dark fictional world based on the Victorian era. The gameplay is based on fast-paced combat and the collection of resources like armor, magic items, weapons, and gold. Grim Dawn also features a crafting system like in Warcraft III. The game is also partially based upon systems present in Titan Quest, like improved logic, damage effects, dismemberment, and an improved & redesigned quest mechanism. So, overall the game is very much like diablo, and diablo fans should really try this game.

Victor Vran is an action RPG or action role-playing game and here you play the role of Victor Vran. The game doesn't have different heroes or classes. The game is overall good but you have to sleep, keep yourself warm by using fire and do much more survival things in order to keep your character alive. Gatewalkers, in general, is a cooperative game where players travel across different worlds in order to save their own. Here you have to explore procedurally generated worlds, face hostile inhabitants, face various challenges like extreme weather conditions, toxic or unbreathable atmosphere, terrifying darkness, penetrating cold. You can go through the Gate and explore the worlds that lay on the other side. you can team up with up to 3 other players and fight monsters, follow the orders given by the Guild.41 become a wizard. If you wield some sledgehammer you will get the ability to bash or smash the ground and stun enemies but if you equip magical staff you instantly become a wizard.

Shadows awakening starts out by having a mysterious figure summon a demon. After summoning, the demon is asked to choose a host. And this is where you'll get to choose between three different character classes and your interactions may change depending on who you pick the character. It is also one of the best diablo like games available for free. The action isn't the most emotional adventure but rather a good fantasy tale that has you moving through different lands. the highlight of the story for me was when you entered into a new area and you're treated to a cutscene that gave you some intel on the upcoming area along with the mission at hand. These are narrated well and act as a nice preview into the area, they help to 5build character and invoke a sense of interest within the area.

8. Borderlands Series

Borderlands still looks great nearly 10 years later as a slightly brighter experience with a better, steadier frame rate and a few minor tweaks. That's both good and somewhat disappointing. Game of the Year Edition name suggests, this remaster includes all the amazing content, some of which is great. It also has a four-player split-screen co-op, up from the original's two, at the cost of a reduced frame rate. The main gameplay still holds up, thanks to its solid variety of missions, engaging baddies, and a whole lot of still very funny Claptrap humor. The game is similar to diablo but has better graphics.

Create your hero and choose two of a variety of ability pools to customize your experience there are quite a few combinations of ranged ability melee and magic classes that can really give you the edge in combat. Titan Quest was originally released in 2006 and has a very similar feeling to Diablo. Your inventory is a grid where items take up x by y squares each and you can shuffle them around to make more room.

Last epoch is an isometric indie A-RPG that came to steam early access on May 1st, 2019. The graphics, movements are very responsive The game features very relaxing background music and the game includes many magic spells and items making it extremely interesting to play.

Wolcen blood trail comes with a complete overhaul of the combat side of the game. The game introduces a  new system called hunts. and these hunts remind a lot of monster hunter kind of a watered-down version of monster hunter. At the beginning of a map, you're going to find a pile of dead bodies that starts the hunt and it shows a scent trail for you to follow and as you go through this trail you're going to find more and more dead bodies, more carnage. You will be able to choose different modifiers that affect the hunt boss or improve your loot or you could come upon a hunting party and if you defeat that party then you'll get something whether it's a bonus whether it's some loot. So, the starting gameplay is somewhat interesting as you can see, if you like Diablo then you should try this one out too.

4. Dungeon Seige 3

Dungeon Seige 3 is an action RPG game from the early 2000s develop by Chris Taylor who's well known for making Total Annihilation. In Dungeon Siege you play as a farmer whose farm is attacked by a race of creatures known as the crook. if you've played Diablo the gameplay of Dungeon Siege will be familiar, you follow a linear path gathering loot as you kill monsters of increasing difficulty and pillage long-forgotten tombs and caves. it is one of the best diablo like games. Dungeon Siege doesn't have classes, instead you use the equipment you want and level up in the appropriate stats so if you want to cast a lot of spells your intelligence will go up as well as your ability to use that magic.

3. The Incredible Adventures Of Van Helsing 

The incredible adventures of Van Helsing combine two genres, first is vampires and over-the-top action RPGs. The incredible adventures of Abraham Van Helsing is even though a mediocre vampire game, it's still better than a lot of vampire games. Van Helsing is very much like diablo. This game unrelentingly unapologetically hard and it doesn't matter how good you are it doesn't get any better it's hard just because the enemies are way too powerful and they storm you and the bosses are no different from the bosses are also really really hard. The game is cloning Diablo 3. As we know in Diablo 3 you have all these awesome evade mechanics and spells to slow enemies.

2. Magicka 2

Magicka 2 two is total co-op chaos in a way that can be both hilarious and overwhelming. Sometimes it felt like a sorcery savant furiously tapping out the perfect elemental combination. Magicka 2 can be an unreasonably cruel mistress but it's the charming world and sophisticated mechanics that will keep you coming back. It is a game like diablo for a low-end pc. Magicka lets you discover a crazy number of different spells and amazingly all of them wind up being useful at one point or another. There's a clear logic to show how the spell weaving works and encounters are designed to encourage players to utilize it intelligently. Magicka 2 also attunes a comedy-filled campaign that constantly asks you to deepen your understanding of its systems to solve ever more convoluted scenarios.

Darksiders tells the violent story of war one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and how all-around badass war has been framed for ruining the balance between heaven and hell. That ultimately caused the destruction of all humanity. The gameplay includes elements from both the God of War and Zelda franchises so is this the best of both worlds. Darksiders contains a colorful cartoon fantasy art that style. The bosses and stages have an impressive look and scale and the animations are especially fluid you get some nice effects like the inky sweep of War's wings flashy weapon trails and nice use of color throughout. Unfortunately, there are some screen tearing and framerate problems but it shouldn't be enough to ruin your experience. Overall, the game is similar to Diablo 3 and fun to play.
